New Mailing Prices Effective 5/11/2009

As of May 11, 2009, the USPS will adjust prices on mailing services for First-Class Mail, Standard Mail, Periodicals, Package Services and Special Services. The average increase by class of mail is either at or below the rate of inflation as measured by the Consumer Price Index. This is consistent with The Postal Accountability and Enhancement Act, whereas the USPS can adjust their mailing services prices in May of each year. By law, these prices can increase on average of no more than the rate of inflation as measured by the Consumer Price Index. The chart below highlights pricing on selected services.
